The document presents a novel weighted deflection routing algorithm designed for minimally buffered routers in mesh network-on-chip (NoC) systems, highlighting its efficiency in reducing deflection rates and average network latency compared to existing models. The proposed algorithm utilizes a weighted deflection level and distances to destination for flit prioritization, combining the advantages of bufferless and buffered designs while minimizing power consumption.
