New! MHB 80!
new in the altrex assortment is the MHB 80. this suspended platform has 2 new
components namely higher u- and side-frames in comparison to MHB 60 (the regular MHB),
these make the platform a lot stronger. the loading capacity has been improved up to
200% (depending on the length of the platform) compared to MHB 60. Besides the
load ability, the platform can also be build up to longer lengths with MHB 80. MHB 80
can be build up to a length of 18m in combination with end stirrups. When combined
with a walk through stirrup it can be build up to 26m! MHB 80 is only available for
straight platforms. MHB 60 assortment has, besides straight platforms, also the possibility
for corner sections (fixed or adjustable), double deck, Boiler stage etc. configurations.
It is possible to upgrade a MHB 60 to MHB 80. therefore only new u-frames and side
frames are necessary. there is also an adapter available which fits on a u-frame MHB 60
(connected by 2 connection pins), and upgrades it to MHB 80. than, besides the adapters,
only new side frames are necessary to upgrade a MHB 60 to MHB 80. a MHB 80 with
adapters allows the same length as the complete MHB 80 platform configurations. More

altrex introduces the MHB 80. a suspended platform with a higher load ability and the possibility to build longer lengths
comparing to the MHB 60 (regular MHB system). MHB 80 is based on MHB 60, thereby a lot of MHB parts are interchangeable for
MHB 60 and MHB 80. MHB 80 has 2 new parts, a higher u-frame and a higher side-frame.

access within 30 to 60 cm of the working surface. you can choose from a variety of fixed
and adjustable corner sections.

MHB 60 Double Deck Suspended Platform
By adding a Double Deck Kit, the standard Altrex Modular Platform system (MHB 60) can be configured into a multi-level
platform, which allows workers simultaneous access on different levels. A ladder type frame is connected at each end of the
platform. By using the trapdoor in the upper deck, the workers can safely climb from one level to the other via the ladder with
safety cage. The configuration of each platform level should be the same.
advantages of the double deck kit:
• Working on different levels simultaneously
• Only two hoists required for lifting the complete platform
• Minimal amount of roof rigging required
• Standard vertical height between levels: 3m (optional adjustments available)

the Boiler Stage is especially designed for use in enclosed spaces that cannot be accessed with standard equipment
because of their size. Specifically, this applies to situations where the access entrance is in between 450 and 600mm in
diameter with a maximum wall thickness of 180mm.
The platform is completely modular. All components are detachable to
allow passage through a manhole of Ø 18 inch (450 mm)
