Nowadays all teachers do not know the difference between evaluating and qualifying, sometimes I wonder if I know it. I think that qualify is put a note and evaluate involves a process (application, evaluation, assessment, review) in which we have to see who we evaluate, that we evaluate and how to evaluate, that is, knowing the kind of student, identify the objectives of the activity, anticipate and plan for action for the activity, share the evaluation criteria, choose assessment tools, review and evaluate together with the students what has been learned and how they have learned. This assessment is not an assessment for a single activity; it’s to evaluate all student learning during the course, therefore we have to realize it in all subjects. It is also a tool used to evaluate students and teachers to know how we are doing our job and improve it. I hope teachers are aware of the importance of reviewing and evaluating what our students have learned, to they be able to achieve all goals and become competent persons.
