A runtime error message occurred when connecting to multiple remote servers with 16 or more recording channels enabled. The error caused the GV-System to automatically shut down after clicking OK on the message. The issue was due to recording high channel counts while connected to two or more Center V2, WebCam, or Control Center servers. Reducing remote connections or updating to the next software version was recommended to resolve the problem.

- 1. “Runtime Error” Message Occurs on Multiple Remote Connections Article ID: GV10-09-09-03 Release Date: 09/03/2009 Applied to GV-System Version 8.3.1.0 and earlier Symptom After you started recording for a few days, the following message of Runtime Error may appear. The GV-System was shut down automatically after you clicked the OK button on the error message. This System failure occurred when the following settings were enabled together: • Recording of 16 channels or above • Connection to two (2) Center V2 Servers • Connection to WebCam Server or Control Center Server Resolution The problem will be resolved in the coming version of 8.3.2.0.
