Evaluating the Impact of Academic Skills Support @ Edge Hill University
Edge Hill University implemented several initiatives to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of its academic skills support programs. This included using an AMOSSHE toolkit to evaluate student satisfaction, impact of skills gained, and value for money. Impact surveys sent 4-6 weeks after support found self-reported changes in student confidence, behavior, and grades. The university also introduced a peer review framework for its learning services teams to support staff development and quality of services.
