                                         Forest school news
    TERM DATES
                              Last week Year 3 were busy planting trees
       Spring Term            in the woods with the help of Mrs Ashcroft,
 School closes for Easter     Mrs Lonsdale and Jo Sayers from Mersey
 holiday: at 2pm on Friday    Forest. Over 50 young trees such as Willow,
 26th March.
                              Dogwood, Elder, Hazel and Broom were
                              donated to the school from Mersey Forest.
     Summer Term
 Inset Day: Monday 12th       In the future the children will be able to use
 April                        the Dogwood and Willow as a sustainable
                              crop for den building and weaving.
 Children return to school:
 Tuesday 13th April.          Mersey Forest also donated Woodland and
 Friday 16th April PTA Race   Wetland wild flower seeds which Year 1
