- 3. Embedding Embedding is when you insert a document of one type into a document of another type.
- 4. Embedding An example would be when you insert a spreadsheet into a word processing document.
- 6. Embedding Within like-programs, such as those within Microsoft Office, the ability to embed is relatively easy because the programs have a shared development basis. With tens of thousands of programs, the inter-operability is not nearly as friendly.
- 7. Embedding As we know, the World Wide Web has allowed for a common “platform” where documents of all types – papers, slideshows, videos, etc - can be accessed by everyone, instead of being housed on one’s own computer.
