A girl is home alone watching a movie when she receives a message from her boyfriend saying he will be late. She hears a noise upstairs and texts her boyfriend to stop playing jokes, but gets no response. When she investigates using her phone flashlight, she sees a cloaked figure at the top of the stairs. As she turns to look, dramatic music plays and she screams. The girl tries to call for help but is stabbed in the back by the killer before she can. She turns to see a mask before the killer brings his blade down, ending the scene with a black screen and scream.

- 1. Opening Sequence Script EXT. FAMILY HOME - LATE EVENING We see the front of the house at late night. There is very little light coming from a tv inside and we hear background sounds from the TV. INT. THE LIVING ROOM - LATE EVENING A girl is sitting on the couch in her pyjamas watching a movie. Her phone vibrates and we see that someone sent her a message saying they will be late she replies that it's 10.00 and he should be here. Suddenly there is a knock on the door, she sighs with relief and goes to answer but to her surprise there is no one there. She texts her boyfriend “ha ha very funny” but there is no reply. Suddenly there is a thud coming from upstairs. Female character (shouts)Is anyone there? she goes to turn the lights on. They don’t turn on. so she looks at her phone and texts him again. (texts) stop it! There is no reply She turns the flashlight on her phone and starts heading towards the stairs. As she reaches the stairs she drops her phone allowing us to see a cloaked figure at the top of the stairs as shes picking her phone she slowly turns to look up the stairs and as she sees the figure loud dramatic music fills the screen and she screams. she runs towards the door typing in 999 but falls due to being stabbed in the back by the killer before she can call for help. She struggles to get up and turns around only to see a mask. The killer raises his blade and brings it down. The scene ends with a black screen and the movie title as the victim screams.
