Supervise all day to day inspection, cleaning, tubular movements and general work activities. Supervise all employees working in the pipe yard. Direct client liaison and interface for deliveries, load outs, various site and offshore. Inspection works. Daily/weekly inspection and machine shop planning for yard and site work. Organise work schedules in the pipe yard to ensure all work is undertaken in a timely manner and per load out schedules client requirements. Manage /coordinate and overview the load & offload of vehicles safely using appropriate plant and personnel. Co-ordinate priority works through the inspection and machine shops. Coordinate /overview and control tubular movements and locations in and around the yard. Ensure pipe is racked and stowed to company standards.Coordinate the offloading of incoming vehicles to verify asset, ownership, quantity, serial numbers, sizes etc. Manage all post machine shop visual inspection on tubular returned from machine shop. Maintain good housekeeping standards within the pipe yard. Review and sign off on Inspections reports in line with current commercial trends and send to GM for review. Draft Customer Quotation in line with current commercial trends and send to GM for review. Conduct Periodic auditing assessment of NDT & Inspection personnel on and at Customer worksite. PERSONAL SKILS Good financial acumen. Good knowledge industry inspection standards and procedures – DS1, API, ASNT, ASME, Premium connections etc. Influencing within cross functional teams.
