Editor's Notes

  • #3: A project needs proper supervision to identify all sorts of flaws made by the project workers. Governance is also required to guide the workers in right direction and set alternate plans. Proper governance can identify such gaps and help a project to carry on its progress.
  • #4: Oversight of project management needs highly qualified project managers who had the ability to understand its shortcomings.
  • #5: As per the opinions of Lange, Page & Cummins (2018), it can be stated that a project on progress is assumed to face multiple issues.
  • #6: There are a number of examples of flop projects, HP touchpad 2011, Amazon Fire Phone 2012 to name a few, improper governance is the main reason behind those big flops. It is true that huge amount of loss and employee turnover are the direct result of it. Additionally, it regulates the growth and creates a negative brand image of a company
  • #7: These shortcomings can regulate the progress of a project.
  • #8: Rosenberg (2017) opined that these issues can be solved by proper project governance. Employee turnover is a threat to a company itself as company losses efficient employees. Therefore, a project manager needs to satisfy their employees by supplying the items required by them.
  • #9: Project heads can have overall knowledge with the help of this meetings and discussions.
  • #10: Practical training can help workers work more efficiently.
  • #11: Proper governance can be implemented only if proper communication between all the workers and management is possible.
  • #12: Management committee of a project will be able to monitor and control the progress of a project in case these improvements can be brought to focus.
  • #13: These governance plans will help to keep a project on progress in spite of any outside forces. It is true that the technologies can save huge amount of money and efficient workers can complete project within time.
  • #14: Project managers of present time prefer monetary and nonmonetary rewards to motivate their employees and make them more involved. Low budget projects take non monetary rewards and give more weekly offs and security policies to them.
  • #15: In the constructional projects employees mainly prefer medical policies proper installation of technologies. In other general projects, employees prefer, clear terms and conditions so that they can get their savings easily after the completion of a project.
  • #16: These guidelines are helpful to regulate the rate of employee turnover and make get a number of satisfied employees.
  • #17: It can be concluded that a project manager needs to employ a number of supervisors so that compact report of a project can be submitted to project head. In addition to this, needs of the employees need to be given more emphasis to increase the number of satisfied employees.
