This document describes a remote patient monitoring system that uses a heartbeat sensor, temperature sensor, and microcontroller to monitor a patient's heart rate and temperature. It sends alerts if the heart rate goes above or below set limits to doctors and concerned users. The system also displays the live heart rate for concerned individuals to monitor from anywhere. It interfaces the sensors to a microcontroller to check readings and transmit them over Wi-Fi and the internet using a modem. The system stores patient data on the cloud and can use GSM to locate patients during emergencies. Benefits include improved engagement, continuous monitoring, essential services at low cost, while drawbacks include costs, adoption challenges, and security/privacy risks.
