This document analyzes the performance of VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling protocols in a virtual network environment. It compares the protocols' throughput, delay, jitter, and virtual CPU usage under different packet sizes. The results show that NVGRE has higher throughput (771.02 Mbps vs. 753.62 Mbps for VXLAN) and lower delay, jitter, and vCPU usage, indicating it has better overall performance than VXLAN in virtual networks.
