This document evaluates the performance of KVM hypervisor on ARM-based single-board computers (SBCs), specifically the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Odroid-N2+. The study finds that memory limitations significantly impact the number of virtual machines (VMs) that can be run simultaneously, with the Odroid-N2+ outperforming the Raspberry Pi in performance tests. Despite its superior performance, the Raspberry Pi benefits from greater community support, which could influence platform selection for users.
