POSSIBLE IMAGES TO USE IN MY PRINT PRODUCTION The potential images were taken around the same location ofwhere we were filming for the music video.This,without the colo ur grading or manipulation in post-production creates a directlink between the video and the printproduction in question.I wanted to create a story with the printproduction,imitating the connotations formed through myvideo and brand identity of the artist. This story being how the artistis very conservative on the outside,yet his music is very revealing of himselfand relatabl e to the target audience. To do this,I composed images ofturned backs and long shots to be on the outside panels ofthe cover, and then intense extre me close ups to be presented in the inner panels to develop this idea.The extreme close ups of the eyes eliminate the mouth which reinforces the conservative idea.I also took images ofthe actors looking off to the distance,being composed and placed acc ording to the rule of thirds and having a blurred background, to connote the idea of mystery which is another connotation in the music video. Addressing the newtons cradle shots,I used extreme close ups to give a sharp and bold raw image to work from. The image was carefully composed to leave the ball In the foreground in focus where the restare blurred out. Most of my images thatI have selected leave the subjectin the centre of the shot. Although this challenge the conventions of composition in photography, it will allow me to successfullyuse the images in post-production.Alternatively, it leaves the subjectin a bold position and draws focus to them from the white space. Overall, mostofmy images were carefullyconsidered in terms ofcomposition whereas few were taken prioritising the editing.Furthermore,through my planning and initial ideas.Iam hoping to incorporate an illustrative elementto the production.
