This paper discusses the implementation of a five-level flying capacitor multilevel converter-based dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) to improve power quality in distribution systems by addressing issues such as voltage sags and harmonics. It describes the control scheme (repetitive control) used to manage the DVR's performance and provide rapid response to disturbances, ensuring balanced voltages across capacitors. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the DVR in mitigating power quality disturbances and protecting sensitive loads.
