We encountered problems with continuity, camera stability, and insufficient footage in our preliminary task. To improve for our main task, we will mark actor and prop positions, shoot in a park to blend markers, practice steadier filming, and record each shot multiple times to get the best take.

- 1. Preliminary Task Evaluation We encountered several problems with our preliminary task, all of which we plan to improve on for our main task. The main flaw in our filming was the continuity. Things such as the positioning of actors/props alter slightly throughout the clip because we did not pay enough attention to ensuring they remained the same in all takes. To improve this when we film our main task we are going to mark the positions on the ground where actors/props must be and also the spots in which we wish to place the camera. Since our current idea for our main task will be set in a park we will use natural material to do this such as sticks so they will blend into the scene unnoticed. Another flaw is the slight shakiness in filming, which we will have to work on improving as we get more used to using the cameras to make filming smoother. Our final problem was in the fact we didn’t have enough takes of some of the shots and also some we thought we’d filmed did not actually transfer to the computer. The only way we could avoid this issue in our main task would be to shoot each shot several times to ensure we get the most perfect take we can.
