SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT
1. Create awareness on digital payment system to the students and among
the villagers
Our Department has organised an Extension Activity on “Awareness of
Digital Payment System among People” held on 08.12.2017 at HDFC
Bank, Sivakasi Branch.
2. Apply to different funding agencies like RUSA, IIPA and Department of
Consumer Affairs for organizing various academic programmes
The Department has planned to apply to different funding agencies like
RUSA and IIPA.
3. Encourage the faculty members to publish research papers in the UGC
listed journals
The staff members are asked to publish research papers in the UGC listed
Journals.

4. Publish more e-books relevant to the subjects
The staff members are encouraged to publish e-books in the way of
Audio lessons and Video lessons.

The department has planned to invite resource person from reputed
Universites, IIT and IIM for an International Conference in the academic
year 2018-19
6. Provide online share trading
The department is regularly organising workshop on online share
trading.
7. Provide practical training by experts
The department has planned to provide practical training by experts.

2. Take steps to increase the optimum usage of library resources by the
students
The students are encouraged to read the magazines, newspapers and
books in the library. The Department has planned to allot a separate
library hour for the students.

WOMEN SAFETY MEASURES INITIATED
• It is mandatory for all the students to wear ID card. This is to
identify strangers and ultimately ensure the safety of girl
students.
• Whenever the girls undertake study tour/attend the inter-
collegiate programmes, it is mandatory that girls are
accompanied by a women staff escort for their safety. The
college management bears the TA/DA of the women escorts.
• Availability of College bus exclusively for girl students and
women staff.
• Rest Rooms for girls students.
GREEN MEASURES ADOPTED
• Banning of using Polythene bags and maintaining green
ambience.
• Printer cartridges refilled rather than buying new ones.
• Hard copies are replaced by Soft copies at the maximum.
• Students are encouraged to use Laptops instead of Desktops.
• Switching off monitors and printers when not used.
• Making the students to switch off lights and fans when they go
out.
• Students are encouraged to use public transport and bi-cycles
to come to the college.
FUTURE PLAN
• Take all efforts to tune the students be focused on e-commerce
entrepreneurship.
• Prepare the industry ready students.
• Offer different skill driven programmes.
• Train the students to be familiar with the development of
various mobile applications.
• Planned to publish more number of National and International
papers in reputed journals
• Organize extension cum workshop on Women
Entrepreneurship every year

This is to identify strangers and ultimately ensure the safety of girl students. • Whenever the girls undertake study tour/attend the inter- collegiate programmes, it is mandatory that girls are accompanied by a women staff escort for their safety. The college management bears the TA/DA of the women escorts. • Availability of College bus exclusively for girl students and women staff. • Rest Rooms for girls students.

GREEN MEASURES ADOPTED • Banning of using Polythene bags and maintaining green ambience. • Printer cartridges refilled rather than buying new ones. • Hard copies are replaced by Soft copies at the maximum. • Students are encouraged to use Laptops instead of Desktops. • Switching off monitors and printers when not used. • Making the students to switch off lights and fans when they go out. • Students are encouraged to use public transport and bi-cycles to come to the college.
