Ola was co-founded by Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati, who both studied at IIT Bombay. They started Ola to provide a reliable and efficient transportation service in India using an app. Ola now operates in 65 cities with over 18,000 vehicles and adds around 1,000 vehicles per day. It offers different vehicle classes like Ola Prime for luxury rides, Ola Sedan for comfortable transportation, Ola Mini for affordable rides, and Ola Pink which is driven by female drivers. - 6. • Ola cab was cofounded by Bhavish Aggarwal (CEO) & Ankit Bhati (CTO). • They both were in IIT Bombay & before starting these they did many starups. • Besides Bhavish had also worked in Microsoft company for two years.
- 7. • Ola in Spanish means hello, name was given to the company because they want to provide service as quick & reliable as speaking hello. • They used to add around 10 cars a day but now 1000 cars a day. • It provides entrepreneurship among drivers & operators through its business model making transportation economical & efficient for customers.
- 9. • Ola drivers can never refuse service to a customer. • Once booking is made he cannot back out even if he needs a break. • It doesn’t ask where a customer wants to get dropped, be it 100m or 100km,their goal is to ensure that customer’s journey from pt. A to B.

It provides different types of cab services like…. • Ola PRIME : A business-class car service for luxury travel available in few cities offering bigger cars like Toyota Innova. • Ola SEDAN : Provide spacious car for comfortable transportation with cars like Toyota Etios. • Ola MINI : Provide affordable personal transportation with cars like Tata Indica. • Ola PINK : Car driven by lady driver for lady customers.
