Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
The repetition I've used is pixelated characters. I will create the universe by
using pixel. This can be easy to create a creative and random world, the
colours I have used have a basic colour scheme as it is its mostly blocked
colours that are bright and standout to most of the audience. The
psychographics for this particular audience would mostly be intended for type
a. This is because type a are the audience who are concerned about their
actions and the actions made in the game, this provides the tension to what
the audience may want.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my final product because I will be able to go
back to get some assets to help me develop my production plan the mind
map can help me reference ideas I may have forgotten such as sounds in the
game and art styles such as image detail e.g. grass pixelated.
Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The game is called Step Jump Hop this is because the main actions the protagonist is
going to do. It’s about a platform game where a character called Hancock, and his
revolver go onto an adventure to find the boss who stole his coins in order to get his
coins back he goes onto an adventure, but its not that simple there are may
dangerous foes he needs to eliminate to get to the final stage.
Type of
products you
would make
• Yellow golden coins, two main characters and clones of enemies that are trying to
stall Hancock's time.
What you will
need to make
them
I will need Photoshop and am going to animate using that software.
Audience The main audience will mostly be addressed to younger teens of age 13+ this is
because of the child like game scheme that will primarily catch and drawn attention
to the age rate or secondary audience is ages of 16+ this age rate isn't too far off
from the primary age rate the secondary age rate has a similar time difference
because there could be teens of older ages that may like my game
Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
An adventure sandbox game • I didn’t choose this because it would
have been hard to create an mini open
world game where the main character
explores to find an objective or to
complete something of interest
Strategy game • This would have been hard for me to do
because it was the hardest genre of
game to create and to understand the
rules of.
