- 2. Summary & Genre • Group of teens (3) go looking for the legend of the 'Netherbody', and get attacked by it while trying to confirm its existence. • They report it to the police but the police disregard their claims and write it off as the teenagers being 'drunk and disorderly'. • The teenagers investigate the monster and find reports of other people gone missing in that spot along the riverbed. Jay thinks it could be something called the 'Netherbody' but the others pass it off as a myth and disregard his belief. • Teenagers decide to go back and investigate the monster and they are attacked and killed. • The police come back and it is revealed they knew about the monster all along, they get rid of the remains and write the deaths off as a freak accident with a boat propeller. They put up another 'no swim' sign and leave. • The Genre for the show is horror/drama, as there are a lot of moments with suspense, which help create the theme of horror, however there is also a lot of mischievous occurrences that help make the viewer become more drew in to the story.

Target Audience • The core audience of my show would be young adults between the age of 21-28 because while my show is horror based it also has a drama element, so this means it will have a good balance between attracting an older and younger audience. • My show also features mainly younger voice actors for the main characters, which would attract a younger audience because they can relate more to people their age, but it also has a lot of older voice actors too which will help balance the attraction of my radio show between teenagers and adults.
- 4. Character Profiles • Netherbody - The monster the teenagers think is a myth. It has been a secret kept hidden from the public for years, and has been living in the river ever since it escaped from the government test facility. • Jay - Cleverest and youngest of the 3 teens. He discovers the true identity of the monster but the others disregard his findings as myth. • Hannah - The only girl in the group. She is the one that saves Aaron from being attacked by pulling him up from the river. • Aaron - He is macho and has a jock type personality; he is the first one to be attacked by the monster and wants to find it again to prove the point that it is real and prove the police wrong. • The Police (Policeman 1 & 2) - The officers (based on Croup and Vandermere) are very snappy and quick to question the teenagers. They know the monster is inside the river yet do nothing about it.
- 5. Scheduling • The show would be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra. This is because the audience for BBC Radio 4 Extra is young, and this is the audience my show is aimed at. • It will be broadcast as one full show, filling an hour long slot. It will be played once a week for a month at 5:00 PM.
