The Red Wing Bridge in Red Wing, MN is a cantilever style bridge built in 1960 to carry US Route 63 across the Mississippi River and connect Minnesota and Wisconsin. The bridge is over 35 feet wide with the roadbed 65 feet above the river, but is scheduled to be replaced in 2017 as it is considered "fracture critical" and could collapse if one piece fractures.
