author, year, abstract, journal, etc

What is {BibTex} format?
– Is one of the widely used citation info format
– Text {ASCII} based, so it's {universal}
– You can use it with any citation manager apps:
Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, etc
– {RIS} format is also text based

● Are there any other citation info formats?
– Yes, it's called {binary} format
– It can only be read by specific associated app
– Eg: {ENL} (EndNote), etc
