Refer to Task 8 in Session 9 Testing speaking: - Select pictures with your partner to construct a speaking test. - Write the specifications for your test ( See sample list of specifications from Luoma 2004) - Refer to: Task Orientation, Interactional relationship, Goal orientation, Interlocutor status and familiarity and topics (See Fulcher examples delivered in class) - Decide on a scoring procedure - Pilot your test and rubric(s) with a university or school student, modify if necessary. You must attach this in your written assignment. Reflection assignment unit 3 In this assignment we create a speaking task in which we choose a topic and then some images related to the topic. We created a task divided into three parts. It was not so difficult to create the tasks and the appropriate rubrics for each of the different tasks; nevertheless, the most interesting part was to apply the speaking task. To apply the task we choose freshmen students from English pedagogy. All the different rubrics were previously read and analyzed by us (the teachers in this case) because a rubric must be carefully study in advance.
