Research based teaching strategy
   Hypothesis generation and testing can
    be approached in an inductive or
    deductive manner.

   Teachers must encourages students to
    explain their hypotheses and
    conclusions. This is a chance for the
    students to develop oral and academic
    language.
 Teacher  – directed activities
 depend understanding for
 students and increase their
 activity to use knowledge.

 Students  should independently
 identify similarities and
 differences.
    When students represent similarities
    and differences in graphic or
    symbolic form, it enhances their
    ability to identify and understand
    similarities and differences.

 There    are four different forms of
    identifying similarities and
    differences:
    comparing, classifying, creating
    analogies and creating metaphors.
