The European Robo.cs Week (ERW), taking place from November 18-22 at a marine base in Amsterdam, aims to address the societal challenge of active and healthy ageing through robotics. The event will feature keynotes, hackathons, discussions, and workshops designed to promote elderly care, encourage women in tech, and foster education. It is expected to engage around 350,000 people across Europe and focuses on innovative solutions for the growing elderly population.

The European Robo.cs Week (ERW) was conceived at the European Robo.cs Forum 2011 by the desire of the European Robo.cs community to bring robo)cs research & development closer to the public and to build the future Robo)cs Society. This year the ERW’s Central Event is wrapped around the .tle ‘Robots at your Service’; a public event focused on the use of robo.cs to tackle one of the greatest societal challenges1 of the 21st Century; the challenge of ‘Ac)ve & Healthy Ageing’. 1) Horizon2020: Societal Challenge
