You will use 1-2 class periods to shoot 10-15 photos. Your photos should be creative, using different angles of view, zoom, and subject matter. The photos should also be in-focus and properly exposed. Using the Self-Evaluation checklist, you will select the strongest 8 photos to edit in Photoshop and submit for marking in a new folder called Rule of Thirds. This new folder should be located in your student file within your media arts folder. You will edit the photos using the following tutorial. The most important parts of your image should fall on these 4 points. It can be helpful to use the grid setting on the screen of your camera, while composing your photos.
