GPL implemented a production planning and inventory management software system in 2004 with four key modules: 1) sample management to track sample history, 2) LC management to manage purchase orders and letters of credit, 3) production management to record production data, and 4) materials supply management to track inventory status and materials receiving/consumption history. The system automated processes around these functions that had previously been managed manually.
