WHAT IS A SPEECH….? • A speech is an art of communicating our message and ideas to a large audience in an effective way. • A speech begins with a formal address to the audiences, is more conversational in tone and concludes with a thank you. • A speech is written or presented for a specific purpose like informing, persuading, convincing or entertaining an audience. In a speech, typically the main purpose is to persuade the listener/reader to take up and support your views. • So, speech is one of the ways of spreading awareness regarding social issues or giving information about the same.

A short question can be asked as your concluding line. In addition to these, an appropriate quotation or moral value can also be used as a concluding line.
