COURSE SYLLABUS
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course includes a review of grammar skills, the teaching of intermediate composition skills, and an examination of various literary
genres that include the short story, poetry, drama, non-fiction, and the novel. Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary development, composition skills, critical
reading, grammar and composition rules, and critical writing skills.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES/INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS: At the end of the first quarter, the pupils are expected to:
1. Understand the basic concept skills in science.
2. Display enthusiasm in studying the subject
3. Appreciate the importance of matter to our everyday lives.
4. Value the importance of teamwork.
5. Actively participate in class discussions and paired/group activities.
