A system is a set of interrelated parts that work together toward a defined goal. A systems approach views a system as the sum of its parts working independently and together to achieve outcomes based on needs. It considers the units or elements within a system, how they are connected through interaction and interrelation, and the feedback between parts as they work toward a goal.
