The Talent Development Program aims to develop local talent and promote social innovation by recruiting and training young professionals to deploy to partner organizations for 8 months. The objectives are to develop local talent, promote social innovation, build a young talent network, and develop future innovative leaders. Young professionals will receive 1 month of training then complete a minimum of 40 hours per week of work with a partner organization. Partner organizations must have an innovation project requiring the skills of young professionals and commit to coaching and developing them.

Criteria for Our TDP Partners? • Creates or uses ICT tools for social good • Has clear and defined TOR for Young Professional • Ability to coach a Young Professional and invest in his/her improvement • Commitment to share process and learning with the community • Pay any relevant travel costs for Young Professionals • Assign an internal mentor to your Young Professional Development Innovations 9

- #2: What is the most important part of the innovation? Of course people. Everyone can be innovative but only the trained and experienced ones will be able to develop their innovative ideas into reality. That is the reason why Development Innovations initiates Talent Development Program to build the capacity for the young smart innovative human resources of Cambodian next generations.
- #7: Who are our young professionals? Successful candidates who just finished their undergraduate degrees or currently pursuing their graduate degree in related fields including the IT, research, design, management, tech development, or social development. It would be preferable if the candidate has some experiences in ICT4D and Civil Society Development. If any of our CSO or private sector would love to send their qualified staff for the TDP program, we would much appreciate.
- #8: After being carefully recruited by Development Innovations’ Recruitment Committee, our Young Professionals will be provided various training for one month designed to equip them with the deep understanding of ICT4D, strong communication skills, soft skills, project management, and work commitment to prepare them for TDP program.
