The USA Revision
Part of the US Constitution called the  Bill of Rights  outlines the Rights and Responsibilities of US Citizens.  Describe the rights and responsibilities that US citizens have (KU 8) REMEMBER YOUR USA EXAMPLES!
Participation in US Politics  http:// www.youtube.com Describe the ways that US citizens can participate in Politics (KU 4) REMEMBER YOUR USA EXAMPLES!
The USA is a Capitalist country which means that people can start up their own businesses and keep all of the profit that they make.  People such as Bill Gates and  Oprah Winfrey have done well  under the Capitalist System and  greatly improved their living  standards. They have achieved  The American Dream.
Not all people benefit under the Capitalist System and there is much inequality in the USA. Your ethnicity and your wealth may affect your likelihood of achieving the American Dream.
Inequality can be seen in housing, health, education, employment and within the Criminal Justice System.  Give detailed examples to  illustrate that social inequality still exists in the USA (KU 6) REMEMBER YOUR USA EXAMPLES
Political, social and economic progress More minority  Representatives in Politics More role models Increased faith in Politics?  More minorities achieving  High School Diploma More in College Bigger black middle class Move to the suburbs
Some tricky USA Questions Describe  two  ways in which starting up a business can improve the lives of some Americans. (KU 4)   Explain, in detail, the reasons why social and economic inequalities continue to exist in the USA (KU 8)  Give  two  reasons to explain why many American people have become rich and successful (KU 4)  Describe the  political  rights and responsibilities that US Citizens have (KU 8) Give  two  reasons to explain why many people believe that the economic system of the USA works well (KU 4).  Describe, in detail, how the rights of the American people are protected by the Constitution (KU 4)
