TrackLib 2.0 is second version in the line of Library management solution, which
has been designed and upgraded from the previous version by working around
current business challenges in current operation system being used by Libraries
across the globe:
• Inventory Management : requires manpower intervention which in result
offers discrepancy in data for real time stock.
• Security : Current adopted systems does not offer any line of security, which
results in loss of important articles, media, books, manuscripts.
• Book Issue & Return: In larger facilities where number of transactions takes a
huge chunk of manpower working hours .
• Locating specific book or media: In huge facility locating a specific book in
inventory seems to be a tedious task, with no track record of previous location
found or current updated location.

COMPONENTS
CV Handheld Reader (CVHR13): Our integrated solution offers next
generation hardware with the best ROI possible. Our handheld
devices are easy to use, robust in functionality with high tracking
capacity. The handheld reader tracks all the books kept in inventory
and once the data has been assimilated and assigned to a specific
location it uploads the data to web based application for latest and
updated record keeping purpose.
Fixed Reader (CVFR11): Fixed readers offers enterprise connectivity
through ports. Fixed readers are integrated readers which
seamlessly integrate with the whole solution with high
performance functionalities such as reading, writing, and radio
frequency communications.
RFID Tags: Offers unique identification to each and every book in
order to prevent delicacy in record keeping and are tracked
immediately during check in and checkout process for return or
issue of books. RFID Tags has long shelf life similar to books.
PC with touch screen LCD Kiosk: Reduces time taken significantly to
return or issue of books, better space planning, self issue and
return of books.

RFID ID Cards: To each patron RFID ID Cards are issued for
automated Library operations such as issue & return of books.
RFID Gate: RFID Gate prevents theft or misplacement of books from
the library and offersa layer of security for inventory.
Applications: TrackLib 2.0 offers multiple suites of applications to
manage and align library operations.
Handheld Reader application.

Ensuring that the conceptualised solution is created and
optimized as per client requirements and onsite deployment
of the solutions.
Solution Testing and training:
Post deployment testing at client’s site in order to achieve
robust system functionality.
To conduct training onsite client resources.

Post Sales Support
To provide technical support to client to troubleshoot.
Ongoing Documentation
Establish and adhere to a detailed process of documentation and
work flows agreed with client.
Provide centralized support system for any post sales support on the
behalf of Curious Venture.
Service Desk
During the Working Hours as defined below, provide a service desk
and contact numbers for client to call at any time to obtain
information .

Tagging Station > Login
Tagging Station App is for tagging the books and patron card
but only authorized person can access to whom permission of
tagging is given by TrackLib Server.

Setting Panel is for setting connection details with :
 TrackLib Server
 SIP 2 Server
 Location of Books
Also we can check the connection with
 TrackLib Server

Tagging Station > Scan Tag
When we put tag on the reader and scan then it will show the
tag id of the tag.
Also on putting the accession no of in textbox and press
enter , all details of the book is fetched.

Tagging Station > Write on Tag
After getting all the details , when we click on write button it
writes the data on tag.
Now the tag can be pasted on the books with respective
accession number

Tagging Station > Scan Book
After tagging when book is scanned then it is showing :
 Book Details written on the tag.
 Security status is armed which shows it can not be taken
out of the library until it is issued.
 When book is issued then it’s security status will be
Disarmed.

Self Service Kiosk > Login
Self Service Kiosk is the application which is used for :
 Issuing Books
 Returning Books
 Renew Books
 Checking Account

Self Service Kiosk > Dashboard
Dashboard showing member name after login and the list of
operation which can be performed from this app:
 Issue Books
 Return Books
 Renew Books
 Account

Self Service Kiosk > Issue
Issue panel is showing the details of member and book after
scanning and can be issued by 1 click on issue button at
bottom.

Now , we can see the book is successfully issued and also
showing the due date of the book.
As the book is issued it’s security status is Disarmed now it
can be taken out of the library.
Charged item signifies no of books issued to member account
, now we can find 1 book is issued to member account.
Due date period can be set in existing LMS like Koha, Soul 2
etc.

Self Service Kiosk > Account
Account panel is showing details of book issued to the
member account and its due date

Self Service Kiosk > Return
Return panel is showing the details of member and book after
scanning and can be returned by 1 click on return button at
bottom.

Self Service Kiosk > Return
Now , we can see the book is successfully returned.
As the book is returned it’s security status is Armed now it
can not be taken out of the library.
Charged item signifies no of books issued to member account
, now we can find no book is issued to member account.

Member is successfully logged out .

TrackLib Server> Login
TrackLib server is a web app which operate all the application
and operations such as:
 LMS Configuration
 User Management
 Permission
 Inventory Management

Configuration module of TrackLib Server has 3 sub modules

Administration sub module contains 5 operation:

Configuration sub module contains 3 operation:
 SIP 2 Properties
 Workstations (Tagging Station, Self Service Kiosk, etc.)
 Data Backup

TrackLib Server > Configuration > Reports
Administration sub module contains 1 operation:
 Pin no by Patron ID:
This will help those member who has their patron card but
they forgot their pin number.
They have to contact to administrator to get pin no and then
they can change their pin no.
This facility is for avoiding the theft.

TrackLib Server > Tagging > Item Report
Item Report sub module contains 2 operation:
 Tagged Item List
 Not Tagged Item List

TrackLib Server > Tagging > Card Report
Card Report sub module contains 2 operation:
 Card Issued List
 Card Not Issued List

TrackLib Server > Tagging > Advanced Reports
Advanced Reports sub module contains 5 operation:

It shows the brief overview of the tagged books and patron card.
 Item Status
It shows the current status of the books (Issued or not).
 Member Status
It shows weither member is active or membership expired.

Shows the tagging details.

TrackLib Server > Stocking > Upload data
Stocking module is for Inventory in which data transfer
between handheld app and TrackLib Server happen and the
report are shown on that basis. It is divided into 3 sub
modules:
 Upload data
 Inventory Data
 Missing Found
 Mislocated Found
 Download data
 Reports

TrackLib Server > Stocking > Download data
Download data sub module is for downloading the data to
handheld to find the mislocated and missing item and
updating the inventory status contains 4 operation:
 Location List
It downloads the list of location existing in library.
 Mislocated Items
It downloads the list of mislocated item found in previous
inventory.
 Missing Items
It downloads the list of missing items found in previous
inventory to find the missing item using handheld reader and
update the inventory.
 Total Items
It download total item list in inventory

TrackLib Inventory> Dashboard
TrackLib Inventory App is a Window CE App for rfid handheld
reader for inventory management it contains 3 modules :
 Inventory
 Mislocated
 Search

TrackLib Inventory> Select Location
Before starting inventory application asking for selecting
location to assign the location to the items.

TrackLib Inventory> Missing Items
By selecting the missing items we can find the missing items
to update inventory status.
