The Anand Vihar railway terminal in New Delhi, India was inaugurated on Saturday. The terminal is touted as one of the most disabled-friendly stations in the country, with features like tactile tiles to help the visually impaired navigate, ramps, lifts, and wide doors. A civil society organization called Samarthyam was consulted to ensure accessibility. The terminal is intended to serve East-bound trains and help decongest other stations in Delhi by providing a new option for passengers in the trans-Yamuna area.
