Visual Learners
Introduction
• There are more than just visual learners. We
can find visual, auditory and kynesthetic
  learners.
• While it is true that each student learns in
each of these ways, there is one particular
style that the student is stronger.
• Here we are going to talk about the visual
  style.
Introduction to Visual Learners

• Visual learners are able to memorise
information through the sense of sight. We
are more likely to learn information when we
use images, pictures with a great variety of
  colours, maps and interactive activities.
• In our mind we can visualize objects, words
  and plans.
Characteristics
1. Visual learners pick up written information
   quickly.

2. Visual Learners love to read
Characteristics
3. Visual learners are quite fast reading as long
as they know all or most of the vocabulary
   written.
  – For example, they can locate words quickly in the
dictionary if they know the spelling.
Characteristics
4. Frequently visual
  students appear to
  daydream.
  – often have a blank
    expression during
    lectures or class
    discussion.
Characteristics
  5. They prefer to show or
    demonstrate rather than to
    tell or explain.

           6. This students
           often speak very
           loudly.
           In the other hand
           they may be able to
           sit in a noisy area
   without being distracted.
Characteristics
7. Visual learners are a very observer people so
they are better learning through images and
graphics but they find it really hard when they
listen at lectures or class discussions. They see
  to understand.
Characteristics
8. When visual learners plan weekends,
holidays, birthday parties or normal days we
tend to make written lists to organize
  ourselves.
Characteristics
9.
Characteristics

10. The appropriate materials for a visual
learner are movies, flash cards, graphs,
charts, tables, rebus stories or graphic
  organizers; because these materials are
  immediately eye-catching. We see to
  understand.
Characteristics
11. We usually have problems distinguishing
  similar spoken
  words like
  access/excess,
  allude/elude or
  compliment/
  complement.
Characteristics
12. When doing
  difficult activities
  like cooking or fixing
  electric appliances
  we need to follow
  written instructions.
In conclusion, visual learners will have a
higher level of the knowledge retention if
we study through visual methods.

We need stimulation to put more effort
in our learning.
