MESH in our catalog • 203 708 documents have MESH headings • On average 3.6 headings per document • 48 264 different headings (6XX) in use, but only 11 352 of those could be linked directly to the preferred term in the authority records (1XX) in the first attempt. Many are probably just non- preferred terms that could be linked easily, but probably also some errors around. Ideally, we should have $0 assigned to all headings to prepare for the future.
