StreetGames aims to use the 2012 Olympics legacy to increase sporting opportunities and volunteerism in deprived communities. They will launch regional games and inter-street competitions to build community strength and encourage investment. A volunteering project announced in July will train local leaders and provide pathways from volunteering to paid work and community leadership roles, combining sport with leadership skills.
