- 4. The promise of God in the last day (Joel 2: 28-29; acts 2:17-18) • “ In the last days, God says, I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old God?
- 5. • We receive the promise of God by faith – Heb 4:1-2 • Do we desire the promise of God? • We are commanded to eagerly desire the gifts of God – 1 Cor 12:31; 1 Cor 14:1-2 • Do we have the right motive? • Our motive: to effectively prepare the way for the 2nd coming of the lord Jesus Christ
- 6. • Ministries become prophetic when we move with the glory of the last days • Receiving the last days prophetic anointing will result to ministries that become prophetic: prayer/intercessory ministry, worship ministry, preaching, teaching, evangelism, discipleship, etc.
- 7. Prophetic ministry of Christ a result of intimate relationship with the Father • Jesus ministered based on what He – ‘sees the father is doing’ (John:5:19) or what He ‘Hears the father is saying ‘ (Isa 50:4-5) • He ministered with his spiritual eyes and ears opened. • He called his disciples prophetically – John 1:43-51

Jesus’ Ministry A Prophetic Ministry • John 5:19-20a – “ Jesus gave them this answer. “ I tell you the truth, the son can do nothing by himself; He can do only what He sees his father doing, because whatever the father does the son also does. For the father loves the son and shows him all He does”

- 10. • Jesus promised that we will minister prophetically – John 14:12 “ I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father”
- 11. How To Move In the Prophetic – Glory Of the Last Days • Remember God loves you. He has promised us the lasts days propHetic anointing. He desires to use you mightily in these last days. • He is a God of communication – He speaks and shows us what He is doing and with our spiritual senses empowered by the holy spirit we ‘see’ and ‘Hear’ • Make yourself available to be used; • Quiet your mind and focus on him; • Have a heart of love (1 Cor 13); • Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit;
- 12. • Ask God to show you what He sees, or what He wants to say • Keep your life pure – be a clean vessel (1Pet 1:15-16 & Rom 12:1-2) • Know how He speaks: • Through scripture • A vision or picture • Sense/impression in your spirit or inner voice • Word/s • Just ‘see’ in the realm of the spirit

Watchmen Anointing – Praying/Interceding Prophetically • Difference between our normal praying with prophetic praying (watchmen anointing) • Normal praying – we say to God our prayer list • We pray in response to what we perceive – our felt needs, events we see, situation we are in etc • Matt 7:9-11
- 14. Prophetic praying (watchmen anointing) – God say to us his prayer list • We pray in response to what we receive supernaturally from God • Daniel 9:1-4 • Daniel 10: 1-3 • Acts 9: 10-19
- 15. A watchman waits on the God for the revelation of what the will of God is in Heaven • Habakkuk 2:1-2
- 16. WATCHMEN ANOINTING – Praying/Interceding Prophetically • A watchman pray according to the will of God in Heaven: • “ Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” (Matt 9:10)
- 17. First, be still, and ‘stand at your post’ • Attentively seek to listen to the lord. • Get in a holy quietness, a prayerful stillness • Most importantly is to relax in the holy spirit and stop talking. • Peace and quietness is the first step!
- 18. Second, be open to God speaking to you • Usually does not come as an audible voice, but as a flow of spontaneous • Visions, emotions and thoughts from the holy spirit to your listening Heart. • Focus on listening to what we Hear, see and feel in our deep Hearts, especially what we perceive in the spirit realm
- 19. Third, stay fixed in the focus of the eyes of our Hearts upon Jesus, literally • This Helps us to avoid impurity, mixture and distractions in our inner Heart when we are listening to God speak. • Start things off by focusing attention on an internal image or picture of Jesus. the Holy Spirit meets us there and then starts to animate the image as we tune into His presence and flow of thoughts (images, words and impressions).
- 20. Fourth, as God told Habakkuk, it is important to “write the vision and make it plain” • Not only what you Hear and see, but what it means and what you are supposed to do about it. • Better to write it down everything as it happens in the spirit • Share it with a friend, and pray for confirmation, clarity and interpretation • A watchman prays and will not rest until God’s will in Heaven is established Here on earth • Isaiah 62:6
