These lessons require students to apply higher-order thinking and other 21st Century Skills, such as communication, collaboration, and resource management, to authentic problem situations that address school curriculum objectives
- 2. BENEFITS OF WEBLESSON Students use a variety of technologies to tackle these problem-based lessons: from digital cameras to scientific probeware, using software applications such as Excel or HTML to Photostory or Word, applying the appropriate tools at appropriate times just as adults do.
- 3. Program participants work collaboratively to improve existing lessons drawn from their own curriculum. The improved lessons are published on the Peer Coaching Web site and then made accessible to other educators in the Web lesson database.
- 4. TOOL OF WEBLESSON Technology productivity tools: Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity. Technology research tools: Students use technology to locate, evaluate, and collect information from a variety of sources.
