Students at Jonava Jeronimas Ralys Gymnasium participated in a Week of Safe Internet to learn about privacy, appropriate pictures, and how to safely use social media online. They watched a live conference about operating a safer internet center and completed tests about their internet use and safety. Additionally, seminars were held in the school library covering topics like IT criminals, the development of IT in crime, and how to create good and safe websites.

- 1. JONAVA JERONIMAS RALYS GYMNASIUM WEEK OF SAFE INTERNET – 2015 First of all, students in IT lessons and also with their class teachers examined certain topics: Privacy in the Internet. Pictures in the Internet. How to protect yourself in the Internet. Social media. How to know what content in the Internet is inappropriate. Safe usage of the Internet. Later, there was an opportunity to watch a live broadcast of a national conference from the capital of Lithuania Vilnius. The topic of a conference was about operating results and challenges of Safer Internet Centre. Also, students tried to complete tests about the Internet. What did they have to do in the tests? Wrote a name. Wrote gender. And last, but not the least – age. And then, they answered 10 questions which reflect if they are safe in the Internet or they are not. What is more, there were plenty of Internet seminars in the school library about: - IT criminals - IT development in crime - Good and safe website creation
