It has many benefits including being easy to use and update, allowing dynamic content like events and announcements, having terrific looking themes, and enabling interoperability with tools like Google apps and LibraryThing. WordPress is hosted in various ways including on a local server, through a commercial host, or on WordPress.com. Themes control the look and feel and allow for instant changes.
