- 1. Discussion Directions To Respond To Posts with a Video File or Audio or You from a Mobile Device!! YuJa is a media recording system available for you under D2L courses or you can download app on your smart devices. Use the separate directions on downloading the app for your device from the app store. These directions will allow you to record audio or videos and also respond to discussion postings if you choose using a Video of you and your response or an audio only. Directions To Post To Discussions with A Video Or Audio using YuJa from a desktop or laptop: 1. Open the Mobile App- the first page is your Media Channels it will be empty if none of your instructors uses Media Channels or have your Most Recent recording you made. 2. Click on the sandwich icon at the left-hand top of the screen
- 2. 3. Click on Mobile Capture 4. Click on the Red dot – the recording begins immediately so be ready! 5. Click on the Red dot a second time to stop your recording
- 3. 6. Click on Use Video to save the Video to your Media Library 7. Log into your D2L course from Google Chrome 8. In your course click on Discussions in the Navbar 9. Click on the Discussion you want to add a video or audio recording and click on Start a New Thread 10. Give a title to your discussion and click on insert stuff icon Insert Stuff
- 4. 11. Choose the YuJa Media Chooser from the list 12. Scroll down to Media – you should see your recording Insert Stuff
- 5. 13. Click on insert 14. Click on Post and your Video/Audio discussion is now added to the Discussion
