This document is a project report on the design of a flexible pavement for an existing colony. It was submitted by 5 students to fulfill the requirements for a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. The document includes an introduction to pavement design, types of pavements, functions of pavement components, factors to consider in design, and methodology for flexible pavement design using group index and CBR methods. Laboratory tests were conducted on soil samples including liquid limit, plastic limit, sieve analysis, proctor compaction, specific gravity, and CBR. Field surveys were also conducted to obtain level data along proposed road alignments. Earthwork estimations were provided based on the survey.
