Picnik allows users to create collages from their own photos. Users can choose the layout for their collage, including the number of images and their spacing. Premium layouts require signing up for an account. Users upload photos to their photo basket and then drag them onto the collage workspace. Final touches include selecting a background color and options for automatically filling spaces or shuffling images.

- 4. Uploading Photos Upload images from your computer and then drop and drag them from your photo basket to your photo space.
- 5. Final Touches Choose a background colour for your picture spread. By Selecting Auto- fill you are allowing Picnik to place the images from your photo bucket into any random space. By clicking on shuffle, picnik will switch your images around, and by picking clear all you are erasing any work you have done.
