The Opened 2.0 project, funded by the European Commission, involves seven European organizations collaborating to create an open business and management course aimed at enhancing participatory learning in educational environments. The project explores various research questions related to community dynamics, materials, and learning in comparison to formal and informal education, utilizing a range of research methods. Preliminary findings indicate that adopting an open educational service approach is complex and raises various challenges, necessitating further research into curriculum design, participant engagement, and motivations.
