YES…and they are looking for YOU! 61% of American adults look online for health related information. 57% of adults turn to the internet for information or assistance in dealing with health or medical issues. 41% of all adults have acknowledged reading someone else’s commentary or experiences about health or medical issues on a Web site or blog. Strategy Build professional online visibility: Create professional LinkedIn, Google Maps, Google Profiles, Facebook (see examples) Monitor physician ranking systems for accurate data:  Healthgrades, ucomparehealthcare.com Elevate YOUR search presence Engage in a four-to-six week Google AdWord campaign targeting practice location cities to  help move you up the search rankings
Phase 1: Build Online Visibility Populate online sites using the following information: CV Headshot/photo Bios History Presentations, thought leadership content Photos, videos

Phase 2: Google AdWords Engage in a targeted Google AdWords campaign:   Connect with your audience when they are searching for your name or services. Search advertising triggered by keywords typed into Google search engine Examples include: obgyn near Dublin or perinatologist + Westerville Advertiser selects keywords that will trigger ads based on research as to what readers are searching. Ads are purchased on a pay-per-click basis—you are only charged for the ad when someone clicks on it, keeping costs relatively efficient.
