UNIT 1: EVERYBODY IS DOING THEIR CHORES

FUNCTIONS:
Asking and giving personal information related to dairy routines and on- going actions.

      Speaking:       asking and giving personal information about the student’s
                       daily routine and spare time activities

                       Talking about daily routine
                       Talking about leisure time activities

      Listening:       understanding the meaning of oral texts and identifying the
                        given vocabulary.

                       Listening for likes and dislikes
                       Listening for gist
                       Listening for details
                       Listening and making predictions
                       Listening conversations about household chores

      Reading:        understanding important information in short texts.

                       Reading for specific information and gist

      Writing:        writing about aspects of the everyday life in simple phrases and
                       sentences.

Talking about the student’s favorite food using quantifiers

      Speaking:      talking about the student’s favorite food in a restaurant

      Listening:     understanding when someone speaks very slowly and carefully
                      about what somebody likes to eat or to drink
                      Listening for details and gist
                      Listening for likes and opinions
