• Get more info/context first

• Emotions activate before our consciousness
• They affect the chosen (re)actions
• We need to make sense of things
• Our brains pack everything into emotional stories

2. Empathy 2-ways
• Allow your emotion (doesn’t mean express it!)
• Reflect: what triggered it and why?
• Ask and try to understand others
• Their context will make things easier for you

• The uncomfortable creates tension
• Tension creates electrical impulses
• Which make, e.g. our muscles contract
• Without it, we won’t move or grow at all

• Hard, bad moments and emotions; Fails and flaws
• Give more honest feedback!
• Break taboos → discuss constructively

• If you are a Manager → Try to understand and integrate difficult people
• If you are a Majority → Reach out to the individual and be pro-active
• If you are an Expert → Share knowledge/mentor others for free
• If you are a Human → Stand up, when you see injustice!
