This document proposes generating electricity from speed breakers. It suggests using the kinetic energy of vehicles passing over speed bumps to power generators via various mechanisms. Specifically, it describes using a rack and pinion mechanism to convert a vehicle's downward force into rotational motion to turn a generator. Challenges in constructing a prototype generator are discussed. While the initial output was low, the document argues this demonstrates the viability of the concept for producing electricity from speed breakers, with potential for increased output through optimization.
