This document discusses the optimization of switched reluctance motor (SRM) operations using a field orientation control (FOC) method combined with an efficient DC-DC converter topology. It highlights techniques for advancing the turn-on angle and delaying the turn-off angle to enhance motor performance, minimizing torque ripples, and maximizing torque per current through MATLAB/Simulink simulation. The findings emphasize the significance of converter design in improving motor performance and reducing operational costs.
